The trusted outer layer remains the leak-resistant Happy Nappy parents know and love, helping to contain solid accidents in the water. Inside, an innovative active silver inner layer has been scientifically tested to target pathogens associated with stomach bugs and illness, including Cryptosporidium, E. coli and other viruses, including COVID-19. By targeting these pathogens inside the diaper before they enter the pool, the Happy Nappy™ Duo helps support a cleaner swimming environment for your baby and other swimmers.

Developed over four years in collaboration with one of the world's leading virologists, the silver-lined inner layer is gentle against baby's skin while helping address harmful pathogens commonly found in fecal matter.

And that's not all. The Happy Nappy™ Duo has been approved as a complete Double Diaper System, which means there's no need to wear a disposable swim diaper underneath. That saves parents money and helps reduce the environmental impact of disposable diaper waste.

How it works

The outer Happy Nappy remains unchanged, featuring a waterproof design with snug-fitting waist and leg seals to help prevent leaks. These seals are made from specialist-grade Lycra designed to maintain its elasticity over time. For the best fit, the diaper should sit comfortably against the skin without gaps. The body of the Happy Nappy is made from 1mm neoprene and recycled polyester.

Solid waste is contained by the secure waist and thigh seals of the Happy Nappy, while the silver-infused inner diaper is designed to target harmful bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. The inner diaper is also waterproof and constructed using specialist patented silver technology.

This design ensures that liquids passing through the diaper come into contact with the silver-infused fabric, allowing the material to target pathogens as intended. Simply dispose of solids in the toilet and machine wash the diaper after use. Compostable or biodegradable diaper liners can also be used with the Happy Nappy™ Duo to make cleanup even easier.
